WE PROVIDE SPECIALIZED CLINICAL EVALUATION, CONSULTATION, AND COMPASSIONATE THERAPY SERVICES THROUGH THE CONVENIENCE OF ONLINE TELETHERAPY TO PATIENTS EXPERIENCING THE FOLLOWING:

Dysphagia (swallowing) disorders - You or your loved one may experience difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) for different reasons, including stroke, Parkinson's disease or other progressive neurological conditions, brain or spinal cord injury, reflux, or head & neck cancer. At Coastal Speech and Swallow Center, we provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations & individualized speech and swallow therapy. Treatment often focuses on increasing swallowing safety & efficiency, which may include exercises or compensatory strategies.

Neurological disorders (stroke, dementia, Alzheimer’s, ALS, Parkinson's, atypical Parkinsonian disorders such as progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), and multiple sclerosis)

Voice disorder (we are LSVT Loud Certified)

Aphasia

Apraxia of speech

ONSITE - BEDSIDE FEES (POST-ACUTE SNF, REHAB, ALF, MEDICAL FACILITIES) * only available in certain areas. Contact us for more information or to schedule a FEES exam.

On-site - Bedside FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) - We provide convenient onsite- bedside FEES examinations for post-acute skilled nursing & rehabilitation, adult living, and other medical environments where the onsite Speech Pathologist does not have access to FEES examinations and diagnostics. WHAT IS TELEHEALTH / TELETHERAPY?

Telehealth is defined as the use of synchronous (real-time information sharing) or asynchronous (relay of information with lag time) telecommunications technology by a telehealth provider to provide health care services, including, but not limited to, the assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and monitoring of a patient; transfer of medical data; patient and professional health-related education; public health services; and health administration. Telehealth does not include audio-only telephone calls, e-mail messages, or fax transmissions.
